Exploring New Ways of Connecting

Sometimes I’m surprised by the detours that appear on what initially appears to be a straight and narrow road. Like my memoir writing project, for example.

The plan was to make time to work on the book , every day, if possible. And share the writing journey with interested readers. It worked for almost four months. Now that I am at the end of second draft stage, I am looking at alternative ways to reach those who may be interested in what I have to say but are not keen readers.

Enter audio.

As a recent audiobook enthusiast, I am keen to try narrating my story.

Here is a small snippet of my first attempt. It is from the chapter “Leaving” from the section “Falling”.

Here is a reading from the chapter “Coming Home” from the section “Starting Over”.

What do you think? Should I go for an audio version? Drop me a note in comments.
